I played 36 holes this weekend and although I did not score very well, there was one thing that surprised me. My irons were flying so far.

I would hit a shot and it would look like it was covering the flag, then it would land either over the green or on the back fringe.

I hoping this new found distance is from working out twice a day for over a month. The thing is the while the irons were going so much longer, my driver didn't change. That's the part I can't figure out.

Also, I sent my putter of weeks ago to get refinished and I haven't putter good ever since it's been gone. I miss you putter sooooo much.

I'm hoping to get it back by the end of the month, I will post pictures when I do.

So, while I am seeing some encouraging things with my game, I still have a looooong way to go.
